While walking around Marina Bay Sands shopping center, you would come across this TWG place at the ground level where visitors can enjoy some afternoon tea. I was intrigued by its unique design and the lighting effect coming from the restaurant was spectacular. I immediately knew this was going to be in one of my paintings and I was fascinated with painting the details and I simplified the background by using geometric shapes, in contrast to the realistic style of the bottom half of the painting. The completed piece was a joy to look at as the human figures also added life to the scene.
